Michael is a Solicitor Advocate who is qualified to practice in England, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. Michael was President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland in 2013/2014 and continues to sit as an elected Council Member on the Law Society of Northern Ireland and on a number of committees within the Law Society. Michael is the former Chair of the Law Society Client Complaints Committee.

Michael is an experienced Litigation solicitor acting both for Plaintiffs and Defendants. Michael also has considerable expertise in high net worth divorce cases and ancillary relief. Michael also acts for the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.

Michael currently sits as a Board Member/Director of the Ulster Youth Orchestra and is a former Director and Chair of “Kabosh”, one of the leading and award winning independent professional theatre companies in the UK.
