Stephanie Ginn

Stephanie is experienced in setting up and dealing with site sales in our new developments team. Stephanie works closely with our Managing Partner and a number of large house building clients to deal with their individual site sales and is extremely thorough in her approach ensuring that handover day goes smoothly for new purchasers.    

Sara Parker

Sara graduated from University of Wales, Bangor in 2000 and obtained a Masters at Queens University Belfast in 2001. While studying for her Masters, Sara joined a large local law firm where she obtained her Legal Executive qualification in Conveyancing. 

Sara joined our firm in 2016 and has vast experience in handling and managing all types of residential property transactions, including site sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, equity purchases, right to buy schemes, Building developments, Management Company issues and boundary issues.

Susan Wilson

Susan joined our firm in 2004 and has over 20 years experience in residential conveyancing. In 2006 Susan completed the Queens University Legal Assistant course and subsequently qualified as a Legal Executive in 2007. 

The course covered all areas of law however Susan mainly deals with all aspects of Residential Conveyancing and assists Partner Jonathan Hewitt in Commercial Conveyancing, Administration of Estates, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and private client work. 

In addition, Susan is also the operational manager for the Bangor office and ensures the efficient running of the office.   

Clare Herron

Clare is a key part of the new development team and this is where her main experience has been acquired through the preparation of documentation for new build developments. Clare also assists our Managing Partner Brian Speers with commercial and residential conveyancing. In addition Clare supports the management of the firm through the development and implementation of the firm’s policies and procedures.

Heather Burton

Heather graduated from Ulster University with a degree in Law and Politics in 2019 and a Diploma in International Law, which focused on International and European Human Rights.  

Heather was then employed by a global law firm where her main role as a paralegal was to assist the Global Antitrust and Competition Practice Group with legal research on key antitrust and competition developments worldwide. 

Heather joined CMG Cunningham Dickey Solicitors in August 2021 as a Legal Executive within the Belfast office, ahead of beginning a traineeship with the firm. She is currently undergoing her studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and will qualify as a Solicitor in October 2023.

Heather will experience various different practice areas during her traineeship, including Conveyancing, Housing Developments, Corporate Sales and Acquisitions, Litigation, Family and Children’s Law, Matrimonial and Wills and Probate. 

Christopher Jess TEP

Based mainly in our Belfast Office, Christopher is the Head of the firm’s Wills, Trusts and Estates Department, but has involvement in acting in a wide range of property matters for private clients. Christopher is a Full Member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners having obtained the Society’s diploma in 2016.

His speciality lies in all aspects of forward planning, including wealth management and drafting of Wills, Trusts and Living Wills. He is also experienced in matters pertaining to capacity such as Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to the Office of Care and Protection.

Christopher regularly advises and assists Executors, Administrators and Trustees with enquiries, procedure, or the Administration of an Estate, a Trust or Charitable property.

He also has extensive experience of all residential conveyancing and property transactions.

Pamela Charters

Pamela has extensive experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing, acting variously for individuals, Developers, private investors, companies and lenders, across the full spectrum of property matters, from site acquisitions and disposals, residential property developments – acting for Developers and Builders, as well as for prospective purchasers on other developments – and can advise on peer to peer lending, refinancing and mortgages, land transfers, purchases of individual sites and self builds, sales under controllership orders, Estate sales, equity releases, lifetime mortgages, transfers of equity, equity purchases, right to buy schemes, repossessions and Management Company issues and boundary issues.

Pamela has particular experience acting for Developers and Builders in new housing developments to include site purchase, site set-up, site sales, statutory requirements and housing schemes and has acted on behalf of a high volume of both large and small scale Developers in NI.

Audrey Atcheson

Audrey has acted on behalf of clients in high profile and high value matrimonial matters. She has extensive knowledge and experience in advising on pensions and inherited property matters and advising in Children’s Law both in relation to public and private law. She also has experience in relation to foreign adoptions. 

Audrey also specialises in the personal injury field including high value road traffic accident claims and clinical negligence actions as well as industrial injury claims in both High Court and County Court. She also has extensive experience of acting on behalf of landlords in landlord/tenant matters having acted for many years on behalf of a major housing organisation. 

Audrey has also gained knowledge of and expertise in employment law and Industrial Tribunals ranging from giving critical advice on disciplinary and redundancy matters and advising on contracts of employment, to preparing for and attending at Tribunals. She has also experience of arbitration in association with the LRA arbitration scheme. 

Most recently she has been engaged in cases of high value in the Commercial Court. 

Mark McAdam

Mark acts for a number of SME’s, family businesses, developers and charities and advises them regarding property transactions, share sales and shareholder agreements.

Mark also has extensive experience in advising and representing clients in relation to all litigious matters, boundary disputes, landlord and tenant issues, commercial disputes, personal injury litigation, debt recovery and professional negligence claims.

Mark deals with a range of private client cases including divorce and relationship breakdowns, ancillary relief and financial settlements, residence and contact disputes. 

Mark has a broad range of experience in all property matters including domestic and commercial transactions.

Julie Ann Osborne TEP

Julie Ann joined CMG Cunningham Dickey in March 2018 as a Partner having worked in two respected rural practices for the previous 15 years. She specialises in all property matters including residential and commercial conveyancing, farms and land transfers, development land purchase and site sales and acts for a number of residential developers.

Julie Ann is also an experienced Trust and Estate Practitioner having completed her STEP Diploma and gained Excellence Awards and the highest marks in her year group. She regularly deals with Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorneys and Controllership Orders.   

As a Trust and Estate Practitioner, Julie Ann can provide specialist advice in relation to Inheritance Tax Planning, care home fee planning and also deals with formation of Trusts and acts as Trustee for a number of clients.  Julie Ann can also provide advice in relation to the operation of Trusts. 

Julie Ann has experience in dealing with Partnership Disputes, especially farming partnerships, and as a farmer’s daughter has an understanding of life on the farm. She is also a member of the Agricultural Law Association and took part in a series of talks in conjunction with Rural Support, providing information to farming families on succession planning.

Julie Ann currently sits on the STEP NI committee, is a member of the Elder Law Group and has recently been appointed to sit on a committee of the Law Society of Northern Ireland.  Julie Ann also sits as a Governor on the Board of Governors for Dundonald Primary School.
